Our baseball coaches, Hamidou and Manato, recently traveled to Lagos for an exciting softball tournament, where they competed against talented international players. The heat was intense—playing long games under the blazing sun wasn’t easy!
The team played a total of three matches. Sadly, the first game ended in a last-minute loss, even Manato and Hamid’s best efforts couldn’t turn the tide. But hey, that didn’t dampen our spirits! We came back stronger and won the next two matches! And guess what? Our very own coaches stole the show as the tournament MVPs. Talk about a proud moment!

While we were there, we also showcased our gloves to players and fans and guess what? We sold eight gloves in total! Six were snapped up right away, and two more were ordered on the spot. Nigerians were thrilled to discover locally manufactured baseball gloves, and we’re beyond excited to grow the sport in Nigeria, one glove at a time. How cool is that?
More Orders, More Leathers!
With great sales come great responsibilities—and challenges. As demand grows, so does the hunt for the perfect leather. But we’re on it! During the trip, we visited a local tannery in Lagos, and their leather looks promising. We grabbed some samples to test, and more are on the way. Fingers crossed, this could be the game-changer we’ve been waiting for!
